The goals of this event are to inform all the people and especially the women about breast cancer and the rights of women with breast cancer, and to promote breast cancer prevention and early diagnosis. Pink the City is a symbolic walk against cancer and also the largest awareness campaign for breast cancer in Western Greece.
Again this year, ESN UOPA is going to support and join the initiative Pink the City, which is organized by the Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer, Alma Zois.
The goals of Alma Zois are to inform all women about breast cancer and the rights of women with breast cancer, and to promote breast cancer prevention and early diagnosis.
Join us on October 20 in the largest awareness campaign for breast cancer in Western Greece, a symbolic walk against cancer! Last year, 11.000 people joined the walk. Let's increase the number this year!
For the support of this awareness campaign, and participation in the walk, there is a small fee of 5 euros.
All the participants will receive a special Pink the City t-shirt to wear during the walk.
The participants had the opportunity to learn more about the Breast cancer, how to prevent it and also had been informed about the early diagnosis.
