The goal of the "Picnic & Board Game" event was to foster a sense of community and belonging among members, encourage teamwork, and provide a relaxing environment where members could unwind, socialize, and build stronger connections through fun activities in a natural setting.
The event took place at Kurtuluş Park, a popular green space in Ankara. We set up a communal seating area by arranging several tables together. Once everyone had gathered, we started with an icebreaker game called "Who Am I?". We split into two teams and played a guessing game similar to "Taboo," where teams competed to guess the most words correctly. The winning team was awarded "fake euros," inspired by the quiz show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?". After distributing the prizes, we took a 10-minute break for members to socialize. Then, we organized various board games, including playing cards, Taboo, Monopoly, and Truth or Dare, across three tables. Members were free to join whichever table they preferred. After a round of board games, we cleaned up the area, restored it to its original state, and had a final informal chat before parting ways.
