Goal of the Activity

The mail goal of the conference was to promote international mobility as an engine of positive changes that can help to strengthen social, economic and cultural relations in Europe. 
Moreover, we wanted to shorten the perceived distance between students and the institutions, and to put together the the protagonists of mobility and the institutions that support it. 

Description

In the framework of the 3rd General Assembly of ESN Italy that was also the first one held live since the Pandemic started, on the 15th of October 2021 took place the Conference named “Collaboration between ESN and Universities for the development of Erasmus Programme and other European Union opportunities”. This event was hosted by the National Board in a coastal town of Abruzzo Region called Montesilvano.  

The conference took place at GA’s opening in order to stress the importance of the topics. The speakers were: Michela Bucci from Agenzia Nazionale Erasmus + / Indire; Glauco Conte from the Erasmus KA1 Office of G. D’Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara; Annalisa Michetti from EuropeDirect Center of G. D’Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara with the moderation of ESN Italy’s President, Giovanni Telesca. The speeches were related to the best practices regarding  collaboration among different institutions in the framework of promoting mobility. 

The participants reached 49 young people coming from all over the Country and different Italian Universities. The conference went live via streaming on ESN Italy communication channels.
