Goal of the Activity

The Open Garden is a place that is an oasis of peace, situated in the center of Brno. In practice, it shows how urban rainwater management can work. There is also a garden with an educational program. Among other things, they do excursions for students, companies or communities. The main reason was to outline to students from BUT how the city can look more green. How we could be more sustainable in our ordinary lives and how our behaviour could be more nice.

Description

Students had workshop which lasted an hour and a half. Here in Brno is a place called Open Garden, there are awesome garde, where you can see how food is grown from the clay to the fork. Among other things it is here a house built in passive standard which uses all modern materials and technologies like heat pump, water reverse system, solar panels, you can see how all technologies works.
