To spend Nowruz, which is still one of the most important celebrations in some countries today, together to fulfill the students' longing for their families and their country. Showing new cultures and traditions by sharing different Nowruz celebrations from different countries with other students and greeting spring.
After March 21, when day and night become equal, the days begin to lengthen. As the days get longer, the weather gets warmer, flowers bloom, and migratory birds return home. That's why some countries see March 21 as the day of awakening/resurrection for all beings and celebrate it as "Nowruz", which means "new day".
In Iran, the Haft-Sin table is set and the first day of the new year is celebrated according to the Solar Hijri calendar. Everything on the table, consisting of 7 Persian elements beginning with "S", had a meaning. Health, wealth, abundance, prosperity, etc.
In Azerbaijan, boiled eggs are dyed and then clinked together in an egg fight.
In Kazakhstan, the dish of the day during Nauryz is “Nauryz Kozhe”. It has an interesting composition. Meat (horse meat or other), water, salt, butter, milk or ayran, cereals, and flour.
This event aimed to learn about different cultures and to celebrate the awakening of nature from hibernation. It ended with dances.
