Movie Night : La famille Bélier (Social Inclusion Days)

Our second film of the year is La Famille Bélier, a 2015 French comedy-drama film about a deaf family, but with a teenage daughter who happens to be an incredible singer. According to Variety, "the scene in which she succeeds in sharing her gift with them, finally bridging the fact that they can’t hear, ranks as perhaps the most touching moment of 2015 in French cinema." Too much sobs and emotions? No worries: the movie also stars our beloved Belgian actor François Damiens, who somehow manages to bring smiles and humor wherever he (even when he's not able to talk!)
