Our goal was to create a fun and safe space where people could talk openly about mental health, break down stigma, and learn new ways to take care of themselves. By mixing education with exciting activities, we wanted to make mental health a topic everyone felt comfortable with—and make it feel less intimidating for everyone who attended.
The event was all about creating a chill space for students and youth to talk about what’s really going on in their heads, especially during the stressful exam period. We focused on opening up conversations around mental health and emotions, letting everyone share their struggles and realize they’re not alone. The event included activities designed to help people understand and deal with different emotions, from stress and anxiety to frustration and excitement. Participants also took part in group activities to share their feelings and role-play real-life scenarios that showcase emotional challenges. Alongside these, we introduced science-backed techniques for managing stress and anxiety—practical tools rooted in research that everyone could use to feel more in control. The goal was to give everyone the space to reflect, learn, and walk away with real strategies to manage their emotions in tough times.
