The goal of the activity was to show our erasmus the local production of one of the main attraction of our City, the gastronomy!
The event, held on Friday 18 November, was born from the collaboration with CasArtusi, foundation of the province of Forlì-Cesena which was born as the first center of Italian gastronomic culture. On the occasion of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the world, we organized an event with them, in our city, to discover the #madeinER DOP Consortia and in particular: that of Parmigiano Reggiano PDO, Parma Ham PDO and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO. The aim of the event was to introduce these typical Italian and world-famous products (two of which characterize the gastronomic culture of our city, Parma) to Erasmus students, also learning to recognize the authentic from the imitations that are often found abroad and understand the work of those who produce them every day. Following a presentation of the products, one at a time, a moment of guided tasting was organised, to relate the information acquired with the tasting of the products.
