The advent of "Mărțișor" served as the ideal opportunity for the Erasmus students and new ESNers alike to casually put their arts & crafts skills to the test while also delving deeper into the age-old Romanian customs associated with the arrival of Spring on March the 1st.
One of the most cherished moments of an Erasmus mobility has to be the discovery of a tradition specific to your host country. If said tradition also happens to be something you can craft & customise to your heart's content during a unique workshop, then all the better! Kindly joining us yet again to help facilitate this workshop, our friends at HEI (House of Education and Innovation) NGO also contributed with coloured strings, scissors and other materials needed for it. Additionally, for this event, we partnered up with the Tomis Hub's Biblioteca Colorata for a well-equipped and soothing workshop space. All that tailoring, colouring and tying action was so enticing even Ovi tried his hand at creating a "mărțișor"!
