The activity was designed with a dual purpose: to provide new members from the two organising sections with an introductory training on the core structure, values, mission, and opportunities of the Erasmus Student Network, and to foster meaningful interaction and cooperation among volunteers from different regions.
Through informative sessions, team building moments, and participatory activities, the volunteers gained a better understanding of their role within ESN and strengthened their sense of community. The event also helped build lasting connections between the two sections, laying the foundation for future collaboration.
The event was structured as a training day consisting of a series of interactive workshops focusing on key aspects of the Erasmus Student Network, including organisational management, social impact, and local and international activities.
Participants were not only listeners but active contributors: each workshop included a practical component, encouraging volunteers to immediately apply what they had learned.
This hands-on approach fostered peer learning, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of ESN's mission, empowering all attendees to take an active role in their sections.
