The goal of the kayak experience was mainly to learn how to paddle in a kayak and doing it by collaborating with the other person on the same kayak in order to leave the coast and enjoy the stunning view over the cliffs and the pristine beaches in the Sistiana Bay, near Trieste.
We met in Trieste at the bus station and we reached the Sistiana Bay after a 30-minute ride by bus. We walked down the bay and we started our 2-hour excursion. We had the chance to paddle in the kayak and test our physical resistance until we reached a pristine beach. There, we took a dip all together and reasoned on the importance of protecting uncontaminated environments. On our way back, we saw dolphins swimming around us. After some group pics and a snack on the bay, we went back to Trieste by bus.
