The goal of "Karaoke Night" was to create a lively, immersive environment for international and local members to share their love of music, while introducing our cultural favorites and experiencing each other's musical tastes. By singing, dancing, and learning traditional moves, we aimed to build connections and celebrate cultural diversity through the universal language of music.
On the evening of October 2nd, we gathered in one of Ankara’s popular karaoke venues at 6:00 pm, eager to kick off a night full of music and laughter. Our group, made up of six members, including three international students, embraced the night wholeheartedly. We took turns singing both familiar favorites and lesser-known gems, creating an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie. Each member had their moment in the spotlight, with everyone joining in to sing along, dance, and enjoy the rhythm.
At one point, we even shared some traditional Turkish dances, giving our international friends a taste of our cultural heritage through music. The energy was electric as we laughed, learned, and connected on a deeper level. As the evening came to a close, we captured the memories with a group photo, sealing the joy of this unforgettable night.
