Goal of the Activity

The goal of the activity was to encourage students to reflect on European values and international mobility through participation in the national contest Il Tuo Erasmus con ESN organised by ESN Italy. Established in 2013, the initiative aims to support the mobility of deserving university students by offering financial grants to outgoing students. By writing a short essay on themes related to Europe, the European Union, or international student mobility, participants were invited to express their perspectives, deepen their awareness of Europe’s role in education, and pursue the opportunity to receive a mobility grant.

Description

Il Tuo Erasmus con ESN is one of ESN Italy’s flagship projects, created to promote and facilitate study-abroad opportunities for motivated university students. This year, the contest awarded ten financial contributions: nine grants of €500 and one major grant of €1,000. The largest contribution was funded directly by ESN Italy, two were offered by the partner company wearefreemovers, and the remaining grants were supported by the Consiglio Nazionale Giovani and ANDISU.
The contest required participants to write a short essay on topics related to Europe, the European Union, or international student mobility. Through this process, students were encouraged to examine their own relationship with Europe, articulate the importance of cross-border learning, and engage with the broader vision of mobility as a cornerstone of the European educational experience.
This year topic was Sustainable Mobility: a European value that begins with your own experience and in Torino we hosted more that 110 participants from the main Universities of the city.
