The aim of the activity was to give the opportunity to learn Italian language with local tutors
Starting this year thanks to SPEAK we have organized a free Italian language group.
Description on pur website: "Have you arrived in Italy and want to start practicing Italian?
We thought we would give you the opportunity to learn our language, our culture and why not our gestures! 🍕"
How we did it: We started a collaboration with SPEAK. We created a specific working team for SPEAK and our volunteers successfully completed the online training, thus becoming official "Buddies". After that, we began with our weekly sessions. People were divided into different levels. As stated by SPEAK, "People learn better when they’re having fun. SPEAK groups foster a safe learning environment where people learn from each other, explore common interests, and build meaningful connections."
