Teaching Erasmus Students how to have conversation in italian based on the level they had at their arrival in Italy. Moreover, through interactive lessons and active participation on their side, the course aimed to create a special bound among students with the same aim of learning the language and the culture.
Starting in October, we used to gather once a week in a struture provided by the university for one hour and a half. After taking an initial test, we divided the students basing on their level of Italian knowledge (we had four groups, two beginners, an intermediate and an advanced group) and for each group there was an esner teaching them the language and the culture. We had evening lessons lasting little time, so we tried to limit frontal classes and provide them with the gist of the idiom and give them the chance to practice with us and between them. At the end of the lesson we gave them another test to verify what they learned and after that a certificate of their attendance.
