Goal of the Activity
- Learn the basics of the Italian language in order to be able to communicate in Italy.
- Learn about the Italian culture (gastronomy, geography, gestures, habits…).
Description
We offered an Italian course for the Erasmus students. We split the students into small groups based on their starting level of confidence with Italian, and then we assigned two volunteers per group as teachers. Each group had classes once a week. During the lessons we taught the bases of Italian grammar, we did exercises to practice oral communication, and we checked their progress with activities - often language games - that showcased tips about Italian culture.
