Slotting in as the third part of our Induction Day event for the newly recruited ESNers, a round of workshops was organised by the Local Board in order to introduce the new volunteers to the key concepts & skills customarily used by an ESNer.
Following a department-oriented structure, these workshops covered Finances in ESN, Event Management in ESN, Marketing Strategies in ESN and HR practices in ESN. Despite what one would expect to be a constrained online environment, all of the workshops were held on highly interactive online platforms, through which the participants got to interact with the whiteboards, ask questions and brainstorm in real-time. As a result, our new volunteers' feedback was unanimous in confirming the workshops' efficacy, usefulness and atomic quality. Accordingly, we can expect great things to come from them now that they have been properly introduced to the world of ESN!
