Goal of the Activity

The goal of this activity was to provide incoming Erasmus students with a fun and engaging experience while fostering social interaction and teamwork. By introducing them to ice skating, the event encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones, support each other, and build friendships through a shared learning experience. Additionally, it aimed to create an inclusive and active environment where participants could bond while trying something new.

Description

The ice skating event took place in Bahçelievler, where Erasmus students gathered for an exciting day on the ice. Whether they were beginners or experienced skaters, everyone participated in learning and teaching each other the basics of ice skating. More experienced skaters helped newcomers find their balance and gain confidence, making the experience both interactive and supportive.

The atmosphere was filled with laughter and encouragement as participants challenged themselves to improve their skating skills while having fun. Students who were new to ice skating gradually gained confidence as they practiced together, turning initial wobbles into moments of shared excitement. Throughout the session, the group bonded over their progress, creating a sense of camaraderie and teamwork.

The event successfully combined sports, socializing, and cultural exchange, leaving students with joyful memories and a stronger sense of belonging within the Erasmus community.
