The goal of participating in ice skating was to provide a fun and exciting activity that promotes physical activity, social interaction, and cultural exchange as well as to celebrate the week of the International students. By participating in ice skating, students had the opportunity to learn and experience a popular Dutch winter sport, while enjoying the beautiful scenery and crisp winter air. The activity aimed to encourage sportsmanship, and confidence-building among the students, while fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation. Ultimately, the goal of participating in ice skating was to provide a unique and memorable experience that promotes a sense of community and enhances the overall study abroad experience.
To celebrate the week of International students, we organized an ice skating event on November 16 at 19:30, located at IJsbaanlaan 2, 2024 AV Haarlem. We met in front of the dormitory and together we walked/biked to the ice ring. Overall, the ice skating event was a fun and engaging way to celebrate the week of International students and enhance the study abroad experience.
