The goal of this Speaking Club activity is to create a relaxed and engaging environment where participants can practice their English language skills while discussing a fun and relatable topic: hobbies and free time activities. It aims to encourage conversation, build confidence in speaking, and foster intercultural exchange as participants share their personal passions and learn about others’ interests. Additionally, it provides an opportunity to meet new people, make connections, and strengthen the community by bonding over common hobbies and activities. Overall, the activity promotes language learning in a social and enjoyable setting.
The Speaking Club event was a fun and interactive gathering where Erasmus students and local students came together to practice English while discussing the topic of "Hobbies & Free Time Activities." In a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, everyone was encouraged to share their personal passions, whether it was a favorite hobby, sport, or creative pursuit, and learn about the interests of others. The session provided a great opportunity to improve conversational skills, build confidence in speaking, and meet new people from both local and international backgrounds. Whether someone was an avid traveler, a music enthusiast, or loved to try new activities, the event created a space for meaningful discussions and connections, all while practicing English in a friendly and social environment.
