This event belongs to the Social Inclusion and Environmental Cause (volunteering). We gave an opportunity to the Erasmus, and Czech students to help for free and by that to do a good deed.
We met in front of the ZOO at 9h, signed all the necessary papers and then went to the ZOO. There we were divided into smaller groups to do some gardening. The lady from the ZOO explained us how to do the work but she didn't speak English so it's better to have a Czech-speaking person in each group. We finished after about 2 hours and then we could walk around the ZOO.
The volunteering itself wasn't very hard, and as a reward we could visit the ZOO for free, so I would say the reactions were overall positive. The only thing is that it would be better if we had an animator for the tour, so that we could go closer to the animals, feed them, etc., but she was not available on this day.
