Cleaning the city, especially the way between the train station and the university, where a lot of people are crossing every day
It's the worldwide climate strike week!
(And luckily, the ESN Social Inclusion Weeks are happing now, too!)
We want to leave a mark in our city Frankfurt Oder - but we need your help!
We are going to clean the city and collect trash, which will afterwards be displayed in a trash portrait, done by P. Baunause, a local artist, all by discovering new corners of the city and meeting new people.
Details:
When? 25th of November, 2 p.m.
Where? In the "Ehrenhof", the court of the Main Building of the University
Who? Everyone who wants to join, help the environment and make our city cleaner!
This is a joint event by Rotaract Club Frankfurt (Oder) - Slubice, Infinity Viadrina and Interstudis, annd we hope that many people from our university and our cities Frankfurt Oder and Slubice will join!
You will receive trash bags and gloves from us but you are welcome to bring some, too!
We picked up more than 7 bags of trash on the way, the television accompanied us (there was a local screening in the evening).
The portrait was shown in front of the university for three days and the action largely well received.
