In coperation with WWF, we organized a social event, in which the envolved people cleaned the quay of the Port of Cefalù. The objective, albeit simple, was achieved in the few hours of the event and, despite the low affluence of Erasmus, due to Covid, the few present showed a great interest and participation.
The event started at the meeting point at the central station of Palermo, from which we left at 8:30. The cleaning started at 9:30 am and was focused on removing waste from the ground: plastic, glass bottle, cigarettes, boat part and fish nets that was collected in a plastic bags provided by WWF, that also provided a plastic gloves. So, at the end we went to have a Granita (crushed-ice drink.) and then we returned home.
The port was cleaned by the volunteers, and with a great pleasure of wwf, it has been returned to the citizen.
