To promote sustainable eating habits and raise awareness about plant-based nutrition by creating a friendly space where Erasmus students can share homemade vegan snacks, learn from one another, and enjoy an eco-conscious picnic together.
“Green Bites” was organised in celebration of World Vegan Day, bringing Erasmus students together for a cozy, eco-friendly picnic where everyone contributed their own vegan snack. Participants prepared or selected a variety of plant-based treats—ranging from sweet bites to salty plates—which allowed everyone to explore new flavors, compare recipes, and discover creative alternatives within vegan cuisine. The picnic took place on the grass, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Students sat together, shared food, exchanged tips about vegan choices, and enjoyed the outdoors while discussing sustainability, ethical consumption, and the environmental impact of daily food habits. It was a wholesome gathering full of laughter, learning, and delicious bites, making sustainability feel accessible, fun, and social.
