Participation in the "Giornata Nazionale della Colletta Alimentare" was driven by the desire to raise awareness among students, both local and international, about the importance of solidarity and supporting those in need. The main goal was to engage young people in a socially impactful initiative, fostering an understanding of how small, concrete actions can make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate. Additionally, the activity provided Erasmus students with a unique opportunity to integrate into the local community and contribute meaningfully to a significant cause.
The event saw excellent participation, with many Erasmus and international students actively involved. The volunteers worked enthusiastically alongside other organizations and local citizens to collect food items for those in need. The international students expressed great satisfaction in taking part in this day, appreciating the chance to experience a meaningful and immersive moment of solidarity within Italian culture.
