Goal of the Activity
The aim of the activity was to showcase the Italian tradition of gelato to international students and volunteers.
Description
We organised a workshop with our partner Oggi Gelato in order to showcase the Italian tradition of gelato to international students and volunteers. With the help of an expert, we discovered the process of making artisanal gelato from raw ingredients. We learned the difference between various kinds of gelato and to recognize freshly made gelato from old one. The workshop included a tasting of several ingredients (such as different kinds of sugar, fruit, nuts...) and at least six flavours of gelato.
