Goal of the Activity

The goal of this day trip was to promote Portuguese culture, specifically Óbidos' well-known Christmas Village, and to foster intercultural dialogue and friendships among the participants one last time, since it was the last trip we organized during this semester.

Are you ready for the LAST ESN TRIP of the semester???

Christmas is coming and we are going to visit one of THE BEST CHRISTMAS FAIR in Portugal, and keep the cheerful and joyful spirit visiting the beautiful BUDDHA ÉDEN GARDEN, the biggest oriental garden in Europe, a unique place of peace and serenity that will definitely impress you!

Óbidos is a Medieval Village and has a huge and enchanting Castle with old walls (actually, Óbidos is the only portuguese Village fully surrounded by walls!). During Christmas Time, this village is completely transformed into a Magical Kingdom with a Bigger Ice Rink, Ice Ramp, Train, Carousel, lots of games and entertainment, and the wonderful Santa's House, where each one is Unique and Special!
