Students were invited to watch 'Sunshine on Leith' - a classic feel-good, movie set in Scotland. The aim was to show a stereotype of Scottish culture, and to learn some new Scottish words, while meeting new people.

'Sunshine on Leith’ is a story about Davy and Ally, who have to adjust to life in Edinburgh after coming home from the army. It is a funny, feel-good movie with music from legendary Scottish band The Proclaimers.
The students really enjoyed the film and left feeling positive. They were able to have a discussion about the language used in the film and the cultural stereotypes.
