The goal of ESN101 is to provide a comprehensive training experience for new members of ESN Türkiye, deepening their understanding of ESN's structure, history, and significance while equipping them with essential skills and knowledge. The event aims to foster personal and professional growth, promote active involvement in ESN, and ensure the continuity of well-informed and motivated volunteers. Through diverse sessions and activities, participants are empowered to contribute effectively to the organisation, both locally and nationally, while building connections and gaining insights into mobility opportunities and cultural exchange.
ESN101 is a comprehensive national training event by ESN Türkiye, designed to equip participants with essential knowledge about ESN’s history, professional skills, social abilities, career advice, and mobility opportunities. This meticulously designed two-day programme enables participants to explore the historical roots of ESN, uncovering its connection to professional development, while gaining essential soft skills, career insights, and mobility tips to prepare them for post-university pathways.
By combining structured sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, ESN101 ensures participants gain a deeper understanding of ESN’s structure, terminology, and values. Sessions like “ESN Wrapped: Starter Pack” and “How to Speak ESNish?” highlight the initiative’s focus on empowering participants with a well-rounded understanding of the organisation. Such presentations are followed by the National Board positions and National Board Supporters, who explain what is happening at the local, national, and international levels to the new volunteers.
While local sections share foundational information with their volunteers, ESN101 leverages national-level trainers to build on this knowledge with their expertise and experiences. Hosted in Izmir with over 150 members, ESN101 fosters networking, personal growth, and increased engagement. With diverse content, national partnerships, and a focus on sustainability, the initiative motivates participants to embrace leadership roles, thereby strengthening the continuity of ESN Türkiye’s human resources and fostering a cohesive, well-informed community of volunteers. By empowering its members, ESN101 plays a pivotal role in advancing ESN Türkiye’s mission and long-term impact.
