This event shows that Erasmus students are willing to give something of themselves to the local community that spends Christmas differently from the majority of the population. Joint involvement in baking cookies, which are then transferred to an orphanage, is a wonderful gesture, which we hope made Santa Claus Day pleasant for these kids. We are proud that we managed to collect 20 volunteers who devoted their time and prepared sweet pastries in a wonderful Christmas atmosphere.
One of the SID events. We wanted to awaken the Christmas Spirit in the participants during the (joint) baking of gingerbread and cookies. Willing could sign up using the form to join a group of max. 5 people and bake cakes together. The sweets were then delivered by our coordinator to the orphanage. Pandemic and spending time at home can also lead to unhealthy eating and routine, so spending time in the kitchen preparing something new is definitely a good springboard.
