What better way to spend a usually lazy Sunday than to learn to move your body. The cherry on top is that this is one of those rare events where foreign students get a chance to interact with the locals (at least those enthusiastic about learning how to dance).
We have a LatinoAmerican teacher here in Tallinn who regularly gives Salsa and Bachata lessons. We join 3 of his weekly classes. None of the classes are free students have to pay to the teacher directly but he offers the Event Manager and two ESNers free entrance to all 3 lessons.
We basically have to support him in getting the word out, getting the students to join the activity and then just follow the steps. 🕺
Around 20 students showed up at each of the lessons. Following the lead of the dance teacher, we received some beginners’ lessons of Salsa and Bachata. Just 2 hours of pure joy, switching partners after every few moves and learning the basics.
