Goal of the Activity

The goal for the activity is to bring people together in a fun and active way by taking advantage of the winter season. The specific objectives include:

Promoting Physical Activity: Encouraging individuals to engage in ice skating as a winter sport, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

Inclusivity: Creating an inclusive environment where both novice and experienced skaters feel welcome and supported.

Community Building: Providing an opportunity for participants to socialize and connect with each other, fostering a sense of community.

Enjoyment and Recreation: Offering a recreational activity that allows participants to enjoy the winter weather while having fun on the ice.

Description

With winter approaching, let’s exploit cold weather and go ice skating! Join us at the Sportcentrum Kardinge (Kardingerplein 1, 9735 AA Groningen) on the 3rd of December to warm up and glide with ESN. No matter if you’re stepping on the ice for the first time or you’re an experienced skater, after every fall, we will lift each other up and keep skating! After many loops around the track, we can socialise together and have a chance to get to each other. For just €10, you can go skate for 2.5 hours around the skating rink starting from 13:30, with skates included. We hope to see you there!
