The goal was to bring exchange students in one of the most important institution of the city and of European Union. Getting people look closer to institutions fosters social cohesion and participation. In this case, getting closer to ECB is a way to get closer to a EU core institution, to have insights of all the work that is behind the cohesion of our society that grants the Erasmus programme as well.
We got the chance to visit, with a group that was initially of 40 people, but got extended to 65 attendees, the European Central Bank, and got the chance to have a very detailed lecture of 90 minutes about ECB tasks to deliver price stability in the Eurosystem. This was found extremely interesting from the side of our students, mainly economics students but not only - at the point that some of them asked to receive the file with the PowerPoint slides.
