Our main object was increasing awareness about visual disabilities, especially blindness.
At first, we give some hints about the event to our participants, then started with a game: Touch & Guess. Covered our participants' eyes with a piece of black fabric, then gave them some colored pencils, papers, and objects. Asked them to draw to object only by touching them. We swapped the objects during the event and asked their guesses. In the end, they wrote their guesses, we showed the objects.
At the main event, we ordered some foods for the participants without they know what we ordered, we just asked their general preferences and health issues. They tried to eat with their eyes covered like starting the game. We asked if they need help, asked what they eating and how they managing.
After these, we asked them their opinions as an individual what they thinking about the event, how they felt.
As we spoke, all participants talked about how hard was it, their knowledge and awareness about blindness has increased, now they say they can make better empathy with those people.
