Goal of the Activity
To allow students to practice boxing every week, giving them a fun way of staying fit and releasing stress.
Description
Every Thursday, we take a group of approximately 10 students to Bertu's gym in gharghur for a boxing training session. This sessions varies between pad work, bag work, circuit training, HIIT and strength and conditioniong. Our trainer is very professional and a great character to be around. He was the first Maltese boxer to represent Malta at the The Games of the Small States of Europe at just 17 years old.
As with the rest of the sports of our sports program, the session is multi-gender and multi-ability, allowing every student with even no experience in boxing to participate in and enjoy the weekly sessions
