The goal of the activity was to attract new members and provide them with a firsthand experience of an ESN event.
The event began with our participation in the Erasmus Days, where we set up a stand with the aim of attracting new members to our ESN section. Our stand was designed to showcase the diverse range of activities and opportunities that ESN offers to students. We had informational materials, brochures, and friendly ESN members available to answer questions and engage in conversations with interested students.
In addition to the stand, we organized an international picnic, bringing together both Turkish and Erasmus students. The picnic featured a delightful spread of local foods from both cultures, allowing everyone to experience the rich culinary traditions of each group. This created a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging cultural exchange and fostering new connections.
The event provided an opportunity for our potential new members to get a firsthand experience of what an ESN event looks like. They were able to interact with current ESN members, learn about the various activities and initiatives, and understand the benefits of being part of the ESN community. Moreover, by meeting the Erasmus students, they gained valuable insights into different cultures and built international friendships.
The event aimed to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, where students felt encouraged to join ESN and contribute to the vibrant international community. It highlighted the spirit of unity, cultural diversity, and the mutual exchange of experiences that ESN embodies. Ultimately, the event successfully showcased the essence of ESN and provided a memorable experience for all attendees.
