To raise awareness about people with some kind of disability and learn to include them in society through our actions and the use of language. To learn the correct terminology and to raise awareness of the way forward.
On the occasion of the International Day of Disability, we have co-organized with AUNE (Association of University Students with Special Needs) a workshop on disability. We have dealt with terminology such as the difference between integration and inclusion, accessibility or inclusion in the educational field.
In a relaxed atmosphere we have put together different issues on the table, talked about terminological differences about disability and commented on the situation in different countries as well as analysing whether or not we are an inclusive society and how to become what we should be.
