ESN Rimini organized an early summer Beach Volley tournament, the first of the season, in order to give our erasmus and international students a break from lessons and study. Some fun time together at the beach with a higher purpose: collecting a symbolic amount of money to be given as a donation to help people affected by floods last week in the Emilia Romagna region. The goal was a chance to make a difference while having a blast.
The tournament started around 4 pm in the afternoon at the "Bagno 19 Gastone" at the beach, 10 minutes bike ride distant from the university. Mostly erasmus came with alreeady organized teams but for those who had no team, ESN volunteers matched them up.
People who didn't want to play came anyway and cheer for their friends. There were also ✨prizes✨ for the winners, 2nd and third place.
