Learn some of the local language and enjoy some dutch snacks!
Did you know that Dutch is the third most widely-spoken Germanic language, after English and German ? Or that dutch people call their own language "nederlands.” and they call germans "duits."
We are going to celebrate the Dutch culture and language through having some typical dutch snacks together, and meanwhile get to know each other! Our lovely Dutch teacher, Emily, will be happy to teach you some Dutch phrases , help you with anything related to living in the Netherlands , or just have a chat about something completely unrelated
The event will take place in our Common Room at Kaiserstraat 25 . It is free to attend and you don’t need to be a member !
We will provide some dutch snacks from Cafe De Keyzer for you to try and since it’s a Tosti Thursday you can also grab a tosti for only €2 (vegetarian options available too) or some Poffertjes for €2
