The aim of this activity is to raise awareness and foster empathy towards individuals with disabilities through artistic expression. By engaging participants in a drawing event, we hope to encourage reflection on the experiences of disabled people and promote a more inclusive mindset.
This event is a drawing activity designed to promote awareness and understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. Firstly participants drew with their non-dominant hands then with their eyes closed. Lastly a volunteer expressed an action and participants drew what they understood from volunteer's body actions. By intentionally stepping out of their comfort zones and confronting a temporary challenge, participants were invited to reflect on the everyday difficulties faced by people with disabilities. This experience is designed to promote deeper understanding, spark meaningful conversations, and cultivate a more inclusive perspective.
