Goal of the Activity
This event was organized with SISM and the aim was to introduce AVIS and ADMO, two association that spread awarness about blood and bone marrow donation, to the international students who are staying in Pisa.
Description
We decided to organize the event in a university room (in the medicine department) with SISM to reach more possible participants. First of all the president of AVIS presented the association and explained the process of donating blood in Italy. Then a volunteer of ADMO presented the association and told us how bone marrow is donated and why is important. In the end, the participants had the opportunity to talk in a more informal way with the associations and subscribe, if interested.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
