The objective of this event is to promote and encourage student participation in international mobility by facilitating an interactive seminar and enriching, informative debates on this essential topic for the academic and cultural development of young people in Europe.
During ESN France’s National Platform, a conference focusing on mobility, France’s current stance on it, and ESN’s efforts to promote it will take place. The primary objective of this presentation is to advocate for mobility and provide valuable insights to the participants. It also aims to address the challenges that young people may face and issues of non-inclusivity.
This presentation is a significant component of ESN France’s engagement in the Mov'In Europe mobility promotion initiative, which is part of ESN International’s Erasmus Generation in Action (EGiA) project.

During ESN France’s National Platform, a conference focusing on mobility, France’s current stance on it, and ESN’s efforts to promote took place. The primary objective of this presentation was to advocate for mobility and provide valuable insights to the participants. Major initiatives were presented, such as the efforts put on apprentice mobility (Erasmus in Schools, EuroAppMobility MONA…), or the overall situation and strategy at government level (eg, “Bienvenue en France”). The end of the presentation was dedicated to a short discussion with the public: it was also the occasion to address the challenges that young people may face and issues of non-inclusivity.
A mobility stand was also organized the day after, at ESN France’s “initiative fair”. It was an opportunity to present the EgiA project in brief and to discuss one-to-one with participants. On a one hand, questions were asked regarding civic engagement, European sense of belonging and the link with mobility and engagement at ESN. On another hand, a quiz was proposed to participants, questioning them about their knowledge about international mobility. It enable the presenter to share information and broaden the horizon of ESN volunteers regarding mobility, so that they can themselves share this knowledge with others. This stand was also used to present the “Together.eu” plateform and to encourage participants to register.
In total, these two activities gathered more than 150 participants.
