Description
More than 83,000 visually impaired individuals reside in the Czech Republic. The purpose of this initiative is to provoke contemplation on the experiences of these individuals. A special guest, who is visually impaired, engaged participants in discussions about their daily life. Students were challenged to dine in complete darkness, experiencing firsthand the difficulties faced by the visually impaired. Subsequently, a Q&A session allowed students to pose insightful questions, leading to a wealth of new knowledge on supporting those with visual impairments. The guest also provided students with tools designed to assist the visually impaired and simulations of visual impairments for educational purposes.
