The Transport Museum of Deutsches Museum
The Verkehrszentrum transport museum presents historical and present-day transport and mobility in impressive life-sized scenes. In the historic exhibition halls on the Theresienhöhe, you can experience the development from historic transport to high-tech mobility. In three permanent exhibitions on mobility, travel and urban transport. From the beginnings of motorised urban transport around 1900 to the present day. Trains, cars, motorbikes, bicycles, carriages and much more.
Some of the highlights of this museum are:
Benz-Patent-Motorwagen, first automobile in the world.
Auto Union Type C "Grand Prix, Grand Prix ( precursor of today's Formula 1) race car.
Rumpler Tropfenwagen, innovative car in 1921 with a CD=0.28 ( Coefficient of drag)

Our appointment with our tour guide, Herr Wach is at 2pm. Audio guide will be offered free of charge at the ticket office, for anyone who is interested in getting one.
