The goal of this event is to bring the student population closer to the importance of standing up for yourself on the principle of self-development and involvement in projects or initiatives from which they will have direct or indirect benefits after completing higher education.
Thus, the audience was explained in more detail what it means to be active during studies, and how they can do it themselves.
Organization for social development DKolektiv (based in Osijek, Croatia) presented what it means to volunteer and what benefits an individual achieves as a volunteer - even though they are not material. Ana Šimić presented the youth initiative through the association of performance art theathre 'Teatar to go' and followed up on the role of a volunteer in such a community. Petar Bošnjaković told what the association Kreaktiva, youth organisation, that is mostly working with unemployed youth and other groups in order to improve the quality of life in the region, brought him on a professional level and how it shaped him into a curious, perspective and enterprising young man.
On the other hand, what happens once you finish your studies? If you think you don't have anywhere or how to progress or where to start, you should listen to Iva Pranjić, who told how she decided to go 'self-employed' after studying Marketing and be her own boss. Then a representative of an insurance house, presented his position on employment in the public sector and how much space he had for professional and professional development. What kind of event would it be if the occupations of the future were not discussed! An active member of the ESN Osijek explained if and how you should make content for the viral TikTok, and how it shapes your profit of it.
