The objective was to educate the international students about the Czech culture, language and life in the Czech Republic, to help them in their first days here and to be aware what’s happening around them. Also, the students were offered to try the most typical Czech sweets, snacks and drinks to complete the cultural presentation. The event, which took place at the beginning of the semester, was also a perfect place to meet other international students and socialize.
People were educated about the life in the Czech Republic via presentations, food tasting and at the end of the event they could test their knowledge in a quiz. During the part of the presentation with a Czech language, students were able to try to pronounce some basic word and also learn useful phrases for their stay. Everyone was offered to taste several typical Czech snacks & drinks.
