Goal of the Activity
Assist newly-arrived international students in getting acquainted with using a bicycle as a daily mean of transport and understanding Dutch traffic rules.
Description
Each participants was paired with one local volunteer instructor experienced in cycling. The instructor explained basic rules of cycling in the Netherlands, how to use a bike and shared practical tips. Subsequently, they conducted a short cycling tutorial and cycled along a beginner-level route in order for the participant to practice their cycling skills in a safe environment.
