The goal of the Crocheting Workshop was to provide international students with a relaxing and hands-on creative activity, while promoting mindfulness, patience, and self-expression. The event aimed to create a welcoming space for students to learn a new skill, engage in slow, screen-free time, and connect with others through the calming rhythm of crochet.

Complete beginners and experienced crafters alike joined the session to learn the basics of crocheting — from simple stitches to starting small projects like granny squares, bracelets, or coasters. Guided by patient volunteers and surrounded by yarns in every color, participants enjoyed a calming and social atmosphere perfect for chatting and unwinding.
Beyond the creative experience, the workshop offered students a way to destress, improve focus, and take home not just something handmade, but also warm memories and new connections.
