The main aim of Con… Correre was to promote sport as a vehicle for well-being, inclusion, and community engagement. The initiative encouraged participants to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle, showing that movement and physical activity can be enjoyable, accessible, and suitable for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level.
Additionally, the event sought to strengthen ties between the local and international communities by offering students and residents a chance to socialise, share experiences, and discover Campobasso from a fresh and engaging perspective. By taking part, individuals contributed to creating a warm, inclusive, and positive environment in which sport acted as a catalyst for well-being, friendship, and a shared sense of belonging.
Con… Correre was a friendly, non-competitive 7 km run/walk open to all, designed to spend a pleasant morning outdoors, explore Campobasso, and enjoy a fun and inclusive physical activity. The event welcomed Erasmus and international students, local young people, families, friends, and even dogs, offering a unique opportunity for meaningful interaction among people from different backgrounds.
Along the route, participants had the chance to wander through the city streets, admire distinctive landmarks, and experience the urban landscape in a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. The activity was entirely non-competitive, with the emphasis placed on enjoyment, togetherness, and personal well-being rather than performance.
Participation was open to everyone. Those who registered (approximately €7) received a medal and a welcome pack including pasta, coffee, juice, pastries, and a few surprises, while anyone who preferred to join without registering was still warmly invited to take part freely.
