Colli Euganei Day Trip

The main part of the day was dedicated to the discovery of Colli Euganei, of volcanic origin that rise to heights of 300 to 600 m from the Padovan-Venetian plain with a guided walk through the hills. Then, we could also visit the Catajo castle, illustrated by another expert guide. Therefore, we had the precious chance to breathe some fresh air and appreciate what Veneto natural countryside has to offer. The focus was mainly on the discovery of the naturalistic territory, the history of the hills and how they have changed over time and since it was a mini excursion in nature accompanied by a guide they also focused a lot on the vegetation and the history of the plains. For this reason, it was a way to improve international students' awareness about the respect of nature.
